The Ides of March (To a Friend on his Wedding Day).
March 31st, 2008 by Jordan

If the passage of time finds friends in love
Unrequited, or otherwise severed,
You reproach the shamed changeling moon and prove
Today - and its contents - lasts forever.

A mirror reflecting darkness. Not sure how good the execution is, but the concept is satisfying.

Dear Mr.
I would just like to reach out to you discuss
Would this week be OK to take the time to discuss

I would like to understand how we can add value
I would like to understand the value proposition
I would like to discuss this initiative with you

Dig deeper to gain a better understanding of the impact
Buy Out
I would like to take some time to talk about how this affects both your business, and my business
We need to figure out where we can be helpful to the Firm in this initiative
We need to better understand how the different pieces here work
Do you have any more color here on the details
I would like to discuss this initiative with you
I do have say to say that the proposal discussed is very exciting
I think your proposition is a great way to move forward, I would just like to drill down into the detail to see how it affects our business

If I could be helpful just let me know
Feel free to reach out to me so that we can discuss further where we can take this relationship
I think this is a great idea, both for the Firm and our team. But I do think we are an exception in this case,
What does it do to the direction of where we are headed
I understand what the Firm is trying to do, but believe it is misguided

I would like to understand how we can add value
I would like to understand the value proposition
I would like to discuss this initiative with you

This is probably the one cases where we need to step back and crunch the numbers
I would like to see the model for this idea and the quantitative back-up of what we are doing
Crunching the numbers is a great way to get to a solution, but you really have to trust your managers
You have to rely on your managers and their instinct about the business

Otherwise you end up with an unrealistic assumption
You understand how this would make us nervous
Hopefully we can set up a time to discuss next week
Sounds good to me
Best
Regards
