A palette cleanser. Calm, minimalist lines dance on a subdued background.

In these cool mornings Autumn has finally revealed itself. The simple rush in leaving a window open has been a subtle step in the direction of relief.

Autumn Movements.

I knew nothing, and I persisted in the faith that the time of cruel miracles was not past. The city keeps turning and polarizing. Days which initially start off cool and refreshing will end in a terrible heat. Recognizing that there is a cycle of temperature which comes and goes with each day, it may sound naive to state this feeling. It feels, however, far too polarized, as if one’s turning up the heat on a stove. It’s not to say that this is an eco-conscious message meant to beat in some message of a dying earth so much as it’s a thought of frustration. Summer should be over and a cooler, more refreshing autumn should be here. This, however, is not the case. To live with such a large build within this kind of fluctuating season is uncomfortable. It’s only in the thoughts of cool, clear nights with leafless trees can one find any sort of escape when things abroad get too heavy.
