The metal bars are covered in rust as they creak in position. Light crisply penetrates this subterranean structure.



Despite their tendency to fall on unsuspecting bystanders, cranes are still pretty neat. If we gave them sentience, would they build a city of cranes? Or one giant crane? Or just a beehive of structures. Either way, the satisfying thing about cranes is that their imagery fits their function exactly.
